Perhaps more directly than indirectly, we could say that the Biblia Chora Estate once again makes a strong statement of quality with the White Plagios. The harmonious blend of Assyrtiko and Chardonnay and its eight-month maturation in oak barrels will captivate those who love their wine to have nutty and vanilla flavors and aromas.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
This is a unique wine with a yellow-green color and golden highlights. It has intense aromas of hazelnut praline, yellow fruits, with notes of vanilla, honey, and nuts. The careful selection of grapes from the estate’s low-yield vineyards and its aging in oak barrels for 6-8 months give the wine a rich body, pleasant acidity, creamy texture, aromatic finish, and excellent aging potential.
Pairings:
It pairs excellently with lemon chicken, fish fillet with white sauce, and grilled fresh fish. Serve at 10-12°C.
