Since the distillery’s founding in 1904, Panagiotis Vantanas has been producing the classic tentura, the traditional liqueur of Patras. Tentura Vantana Classic is made through the traditional extraction of cinnamon, clove, and a small secret ingredient that gives it its distinctive flavor. The name “tentura” comes from the words “teintura” or “tintura” and is renowned throughout Greece. The Tentura Vantana recipe stands out for its wonderful taste and pleasant aromas.
It can be enjoyed at any time of the day, neat or with ice, with soda or tonic, or even in cocktails. It is ideal after a meal due to its digestive properties, served at a temperature of 6-12˚C. It pairs excellently with nuts, fruits, and baked goods, offering a delightful experience.
