The Oreno red wine from the Spyropoulos Estate is sourced from selected vineyards in the mountainous regions of the Peloponnese. The careful vinification of Agiorgitiko and Syrah, along with a brief aging in French oak barrels, results in a fresh, ruby-red wine.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
On the nose, delicate aromas of red fruits are harmoniously combined with notes of vanilla, fresh spices, and jam, underlined by a subtle hint of oak. On the palate, it is soft and full-bodied, with gentle tannins and flavors of red fruits, enveloped by hints of butterscotch, giving the wine a rich character with a subtle touch of sweetness. The finish is fruity with a slight spiciness, offering just the right amount of length.
Pairings:
It pairs perfectly with light dishes of cheese and charcuterie but can also be enjoyed on its own. Serve ideally at 12-14°C.
