The color is deep purple with ruby highlights. The nose is rich, complex, and multi-dimensional, revealing aromas of red cherry, ripe plum, sweet vanilla, with notes of violet and tobacco. On the palate, it is round, velvety, and full-bodied with very ripe, soft tannins. Dominant black fruit flavors are followed by aromas of spices and tobacco. The finish is rich, long, and complex.

Best served at 18°C, it pairs perfectly with red meats, poultry, and semi-hard cheeses.
