Santo Wines Winery is one of the most successful cooperatives in Greece, producing excellent, typical wines with an extraordinary quality-to-price ratio. The winery offers breathtaking views, where visitors can sample their wonderful wines. One of these is the Assyrtiko Grand Reserve Santo Wines. The grapes are harvested in the last days of August, and the wine is aged for 6 months in 225-liter French oak barrels and another 6 months in the bottle, gaining enviable complexity and structure.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
The Assyrtiko Grand Reserve Santo Wines has a medium lemon color with golden hues and rich aromas of smoke, lemon, citrus, grapefruit, peach, toast, butter, and vanilla. On the palate, ripe citrus fruits, nuts, honey, vanilla, a touch of saltiness, and flint flood the senses.
Pairings:
It pairs perfectly with roasted pork with crispy skin and tortelli stuffed with lobster in a cream sauce. Serve at 10°C.
