Rich red wine made from late-harvest grapes and low-yield vineyards. The blend is primarily based on Cabernet Sauvignon, with the addition of Mavrodaphne and Touriga Nacional. The wine ages for 24 months in oak barrels, mostly new ones.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
The color is an impenetrable dark purple. The nose is dominated by aromas of ripe black fruits, sweet spices like vanilla, chocolate, and clove, along with notes of coffee and pepper. On the palate, the wine is rich and warm, with firm tannins and moderate acidity. The finish is long-lasting, with hints of cedar and spices.
Pairings:
It pairs excellently with barbecued red meats and juicy burgers. Serve at 17°C.
