The “Moshoudi,” as the locals call it, or otherwise known as the small-berried Moschato Rio Patras, meets Assyrtiko in a unique and original combination that wine enthusiasts have made synonymous with the Papargyriou Estate. From the highest vineyard of the estate in Sofiana, Corinthia, at an altitude of 850 meters, these two varieties seem to have a long-standing acquaintance. Their combination confirms this familiar relationship. The Moshoudi contributes its explosively aromatic personality, while the full-bodied Assyrtiko adds acidity, intensity, and vibrancy. When you add a talented winemaker with a strong vision to the mix, the result becomes irresistible.

Organoleptic Characteristics:

Pale yellow color with greenish highlights in the glass. An impressive and ultra-fresh nose, filled with aromas of apricot, lime, and quince. Rose, Turkish delight, and jasmine combine with green apple, mint, and pineapple, while herbal hints of tea and a light minerality complete the intensely fruity ensemble. On the palate, it is intense and lively, with refreshing acidity that skillfully balances the slight sweetness of the fruit. Apricot, lime, and Turkish delight dominate the taste, leading to a long, intense lemony finish with surprising hints of chamomile.

Pairings:

It pairs excellently with shellfish, fish, refreshing salads, or chicken dishes with fruit. Best served at 8°C.
