The story of Ouzo 12 begins in 1880 in Constantinople, when the Kalogiannis brothers, in their small traditional distillery, created their own ouzo. At that time, ouzo was not sold in bottles but was dispensed directly from barrels. The barrel with the number “12” was the favorite among tasters of the time, as its contents were distinguished by exceptional quality, rich flavor, and unique aroma.
