The most typical and authentic dry French vermouth, perhaps the most famous of all, comes from Southern France. It is based on the same secret recipe since 1813, using high-quality base wines, some of which are aged in oak barrels.
The aromatic ingredients include chamomile and gentian from France, nutmeg from Indonesia, and bitter oranges from Tunisia. Together, they create an aromatic yet elegant vermouth.
