Easy to drink and aromatic, smooth and sweet, this beverage has been the party drink of choice since 1910. Based on Italian dry wines, with a touch of sweetness from processed sugar, blended with vanilla and aromatic herbs, it has become synonymous with vermouth for almost the entire world.
Its history dates back to Roman times, when the art of blending wine with Mediterranean herbs was perfected. Over time, the northern Italian province of Piedmont became the center of this craft.
In 1863, Alessandro Martini and Luigi Rossi founded MARTINI with the aim of creating a new style of aromatic beverage. The success was immediate and has continued to this day on a global scale.
