The Macallan Triple Cask 12 Years Old is aged for at least 12 years in a combination of three different casks: European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks, and American bourbon casks.
This blend provides a multi-layered taste, featuring notes of dried fruits, vanilla, chocolate, and spices. The result is a balanced whisky that combines the rich sweetness of sherry with velvety vanilla and caramel undertones derived from the American bourbon casks.
