Laphroaig Select is bottled with its natural color and originates from a carefully selected range of casks: Oloroso sherry butts, Straight American white oak barrels, PX (Pedro Ximenez) hogsheads, Quarter casks, and First fill Bourbon casks. This whisky is inspired by Ian Hunter, the last member of the family to manage the distillery.

The peatiness in Laphroaig Select is less pronounced, making it an ideal choice for newcomers looking to explore the distinctive smoky character of Islay whiskies.

It features a bright gold color, entirely natural. On the nose, while the peat is subdued, it is accompanied by ripe red fruits and a sense of dryness.

On the palate, it starts sweet and transitions to classic notes of dryness, peat, ash, and citrus. The finish is extended, with hints of almond and lime.
