A classic red wine from Nemea that accurately reflects the friendliness and approachability of the region’s wines, as well as Agiorgitiko. It stands out for its dark fruit aromas on the nose and corresponding flavors on the palate, with an excellent balance of acidity and tannins.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
The aroma is dominated by spices such as cinnamon, clove, pepper, and licorice, while on the palate, notes of stone fruits like cherry and dried plum are prominent. Nemea Lantides is aged for 14 months in oak barrels from the Allier forests in France and the Caucasus in Russia. It is a wine that can age in proper cellar conditions for up to six years.
Pairings:
Pairs well with pasta with minced meat, grilled steaks, and pork chops. Serve at 16-18 °C.
