Not one, not two, but three cosmopolitan grape varieties, specifically the most popular red grapes of the global vineyard—Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah—are combined by Ktima Kir-Yianni into an easy-drinking wine that will win over both seasoned wine lovers and the younger crowd. A wine full of freshness and abundant fruit that will easily grace both everyday and festive tables. It takes its name from the blue tractor at the winery’s entrance, with which Yiannis Boutaris planted the vineyard in Naoussa, dedicated to the contribution of the Greek vintner.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
Its color is deep garnet with purple highlights. Its aroma is vibrant, with blackberries, sour cherries, and blackcurrants competing with sweet and spicy spices, all beautifully dressed with notes of vanilla and butter. On the palate, it is juicy and luscious, with concentrated fruit, velvety tannins, and a delightful aftertaste. Enjoy it 3-4 years after the harvest, savoring its freshness, which the screw cap helps to preserve unaltered.
Pairings:
Pairs perfectly with spaghetti Bolognese, pastitsio, skewers, pizzas with cold cuts, sausages, grilled steaks, imam eggplant, and beef stew. Best served at 16-18°C.
