We know well that Xinomavro from Amyntaio can produce refreshing and highly enjoyable rosé wines, especially when it bears the signature of Ktima Kir-Yianni. Here, we have the estate’s second still and dry rosé wine, crafted from carefully selected high-quality grapes from old vineyards at an altitude of 600 meters.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
Its color is light salmon with subtle orange hues. The aroma is dominated by floral notes like rose, combined with red fruits reminiscent of strawberry and cherry, and is completed with delicate hints of cinnamon. On the palate, it is lively and expressive, with crisp red fruits, thirst-quenching acidity, medium body, and a long-lasting fruity finish.
Pairings:
It pairs wonderfully with spicy Asian dishes, pasta with seafood or vegetables, cold appetizers, fish, Florina peppers, eggplant with feta, stuffed vegetables, and also as an aperitif. Best served at 8°C.
