BioGaia’s Assyrtiko made a splash from its very first release – and rightly so. This is a truly special white wine made from old ungrafted vines in Santorini, whose roots have the ability to absorb all the magic of the island’s volcanic terroir.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
Bright lemon color. Aromas of lemon, peach, pear, yeast, and gunpowder create an aromatic profile that screams Assyrtiko. On the palate, it is rich and complex, with citrus fruits making their presence felt again, crisp acidity, and a salty aftertaste.
Pairings:
Perfectly pairs with fried seafood, seafood platters, and fresh grilled fish. Serve at 12 – 14 °C.
