Ready for a flavorful journey to exotic islands? With a Weiss beer from the Spaten-Franziskaner brewery, you’ll enjoy an experience filled with tropical fruits like banana, peach, lemon, and orange. The flavorful journey is completed with peppery and spicy notes, offering a balanced enjoyment.
The Spaten-Franziskaner brewery has a rich history that dates back to 1397 in Munich. It introduced the fruity, vitamin-rich, and easy-drinking category of Weiss beers. By 1867, it was the largest brewery in the city, and in 1992, it reached a production of 1 million hectoliters. In 1997, it merged with Löwenbräu, and in 2004, it became part of InBev.
Despite changes in ownership, the name Franziskaner, meaning “monk,” remained synonymous with quality in Weiss beers. Since 1909, a monk has graced their label, and Franziskaner Weiss beers have earned their place as the most popular Weiss beers worldwide.
