The Agiorgitiko softens the intensity of the Cabernet Sauvignon without altering its key characteristics, which are shaped by the unique terroir of our organic vineyard.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
Deep red, with a dense texture. A concentrated and multi-layered profile dominated by aromas of black fruits, vanilla, toasted bread, chocolate, and spices. Fleshy and well-structured, with noticeable but aristocratic tannins, enriched with abundant, ripe fruit. Warm and generous, it maintains an admirable balance that concludes with a long, spicy finish. It will continue to evolve for at least 15-20 years from the harvest year.
Pairings:
It pairs excellently with red meats, especially lamb, in almost all of its preparations. Also, try it with slow-cooked beef stew, ribeye steak, roast duck, or hare salmi. Serve at 16-18 °C.
