Founded in 1832, the Castarède house is the oldest business still operating in the Armagnac region. Today, the sixth generation of the Castarède family, under the leadership of Florence Castarède, manages the company. They maintain cellars that function as an “ecological museum,” dedicated to preserving the original 19th-century spirit. The estate and cellars are located along the Baise River, in Pont-de-Bordes, Lot-et-Garonne.
This Armagnac is characterized by strong and warm aromas, combining notes of fruit and spices. Its structure on the palate is well-balanced, with softened tannins, while the flavors of caramelized fruit peels add a delightful finish to the experience.
