Brugal Añejo Black Rum is a five-year-old Dominican rum. The company was founded by Andrés Brugal Montaner, and most of the board members are direct descendants of Montaner. The nose is filled with caramel, a hint of spice, pepper, and vanilla. The palate is smooth and rich, with a rather dry profile, featuring spiced jam and dark sugar. The finish is of good quality, with prominent dark sugar notes.
