Pusser’s Blue Label is the new bottling of the original Pusser’s rum, with an alcohol content of 40%. The Pusser’s rum collection has been slightly refreshed, while the blue label maintains the same classic blend of rum, based on the traditional British Navy (Admiralty) recipe. Bottled at 40%, it meets the maximum allowable strength for distribution to naval bases.
The rum’s color is a rich, clear mahogany. Its aroma is dominated by classic demerara notes, with brown sugar and molasses, along with wonderful hints of leather, tobacco, dried sultanas, nutmeg, clove, and cassia. The finish is smooth, with oak, caramel, and rich English toffee notes, rounding out a particularly enjoyable experience.
