Organoleptic Characteristics:
This is a typical and classic Naoussa wine. It features a deep red color and a strong personality. It exudes a rich bouquet of ripe red fruits, blackberry, and plum, harmoniously combined with sun-dried tomato and aging aromas like cinnamon and wood. It has a rich body, good balance and structure, with soft tannins providing a pleasant finish.
Pairings:
It pairs excellently with red meat dishes, such as pork with sun-dried tomatoes and cheese, lamb cooked in a wood-fired oven, and beef stew with pine nuts and raisins. It also accompanies pasta with spicy red sauces and yellow cheeses, like Parmesan and feta. Serve ideally at 16-18 °C.
