This Merlot is the product of work carried out in the selected Boutari vineyards, as part of a broader exploration into the quality potential of acclimatizing internationally recognized foreign varieties to the Greek vineyard. It is a Merlot that excellently reflects both the characteristics of the variety and the region from which it originates.
Organoleptic Characteristics:
It is characterized by an impressive deep red color and an intense aroma of red fruits, with strawberry and blackberry taking the lead, and sweet spices like rose and cinnamon. It stands out for its very good structure, balance, richness, and excellent finish.
Pairings:
It pairs perfectly with grilled meats such as lamb chops, pork chops, and sausages, braised meats, eggplant dishes, and mushroom risotto. Serve at 16-18 °C.
