The Bladnoch 14 Year Old, released in 2021, matures exclusively in Oloroso Sherry casks, with each cask carefully selected by Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage. This rich whisky expression reveals notes of fruit cake, dark chocolate, and a subtle sweetness of cinnamon on the palate.
On the nose, it features dominant aromas of spices, raisins, and sultanas, with hints of orange peel and chocolate. The taste brings out flavors of dried fruits, rich fruit cake, along with sweet cinnamon and chocolate. The finish is long, with a slight dryness that perfectly complements its complexity.
