Bacardi is the largest rum producer, founded in 1862 in Cuba by Don Facundo Bacardi Masso, and it remains a family-owned business. Its most classic rum, Bacardi Superior, is the “flagship” of the distillery and is almost synonymous with the word rum, leading its category in sales.
This young rum has subtle aromas of vanilla and nuts, derived from its brief aging period in white oak barrels. It is ideal for creating popular cocktails like the Mojito.
