Amarula Wild Fruit Cream is a liqueur from South Africa, made from cream, sugar, and the fruit of the African Marula tree, also known as the elephant tree, as its fruit is particularly loved by elephants. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this drink is allocated to the “Elephant Amarula” elephant conservation research program at the University of Natal. The taste of Amarula Wild Fruit Cream is creamy, fruity, and sweet. It can be enjoyed neat, over crushed ice, with coffee, or with rum.
