Balaskas Delicatessen & Yacht Provisioning Sponsors Blue Cup 2024
Balaskas Delicatessen & Yacht Provisioning, with a rich tradition dating back to 1975, is a landmark in the world of fine foods. Our goal is to offer our customers exceptional quality and personalized service, inspired by a legacy of excellence that we have built since the 1930s.
Our story began when Panagiotis Balaskas opened the first grocery store in Petralona. His son, Stefanos Balaskas, took over and revolutionized the market by creating the first delicatessen stores in Greece. Today, the third generation of the family continues this legacy with the same passion, honoring the values that established us at the top of the industry.
Balaskas Delicatessen & Yacht Provisioning is known for its teamwork and personal relationships with customers. We implement strict quality controls on a daily basis and only collaborate with top-tier suppliers. This ensures the ideal balance of quality and price while maintaining the highest standards in the market.
Our many years of experience in yacht provisioning have made us experts in the supply and distribution of products for maritime needs. We deeply understand our clients’ requirements and respond with reliability, offering products and services that exceed every expectation. For this reason, we have decided to support the Blue Cup 2024 as a Gold Sponsor, in partnership with Dream Yacht Charter!
Dream Yacht Charter was founded in 2000 by Loïc Bonnet with a vision to revolutionize the sailing industry and make it accessible to everyone. Starting with just six boats in the Seychelles, today it boasts over 800 yachts across more than 35 exciting global destinations, including the Bahamas, Caribbean, Americas, Europe, Asia, Indian Ocean, and Pacific Ocean.
The Blue Cup 2024 is one of the most respected international sailing events, held annually in the Saronic Gulf in Greece. The race was introduced in 1990 by Vernicos Yachts, which became part of the Dream Yacht Charter family in 2011. The event has continued to grow in success, with around 50 yachts from our fleet participating, including models from Beneteau, Bavaria, Dufour, and Jeanneau. The event attracts crews from all over the world and serves as a meeting point for sailing enthusiasts.
